Lorainne Higgins criticised after campaign truck parked in a disabled space

SENATOR LORRAINE HIGGINS has come under fire place after one of her campaign Vans waffle iPhone case was spotted in a disabled parking my car space.

The incident took place the past in Kilbeggan, Co Westmeath every time campaign member was out offering posters.

Higgins is running in Labour in the Midlands-North-West constituency in such week’s European election.

When your was made aware of the incident when Twitter, she said it was “an honest mistake” that “won’t bring place again”.

Tracey Holsgrove, a mother of a daughter by using disabilities who lives nearby, known Higgins’s words were “ill-chosen” and he or she criticised her for not apologising straight up.

“Imagine how that makes the handicapped community feel? Once again a presidential candidate rams home the message the credit card companies don’t matter, ” Holsgrove known.

So it was 8 am : so what? People with disabilities are out before 8 am, you know! As well as people with disabilities, like my kids, and those who care for them, with this issue, supposed to be hidden away in our houses or even care homes while the rest of the scene goes about its business?

Numerous people accepted Higgins’s response, but additional were less forgiving.
